The core field of service for Quality Testing and Engineering, Inc. is traditional construction observation and testing of concrete, engineered fill, and asphalt paving. To ensure the Quality you deserve, our field staff has the latest generation of equipment to assist them in verifying compliance of your building materials. QTE maintains nearly 20 sets of IDOT approved concrete testing equipment, over 10 Humboldt nuclear densimeters, 3 self-contained mobile laboratories, as well as various Corps of Engineers approved density testing devices. All equipment is carefully maintained and properly calibrated. Our main laboratory is approved by AASHTO, the State of Illinois, and the Corps of Engineers. QTE's ovservation and testing services include:
